There is not a single day where you don’t see any crazy exercises to lose weight on your mobile phones.
Yes, we desperately want to lose weight and are looking for answers. We are constantly bombarded with great videos of people doing some insanely crazy exercises.
There are forms like HIIT and crossfit where you see some unique form of exercises which are not easy to perform.
There is an adrenaline rush as soon as you see these videos and wonder if even you were able to do such kind of crazy exercises to lose weight.
What do these crazy exercise videos promise?
They are obviously a great type of exercises and they focus a lot on burning calories faster and to achieve a shredded look.
Shredded look is possible only when your body fat percentage goes below 15 percent.
What we fail to analyse is at what stage or in what kind of form we currently are in.
The people which you seen in the videos are already in a great form with a marvelous physique and hence it is possible for them to exhibit such advanced level of crazy looking exercises and believe me is not that difficult for them.
But when it comes to average body types or bodies with some excess weight, attempting such crazy exercises to lose weight may not be necessary and also it may lead to injuries which you don’t want in middle of weight lose regime.
Why you don’t need crazy exercises to lose weight?
Simple answer can be that you can also lose weight without resorting to such crazy exercises.
There is also a misconception with losing weight and looking fit. If you are in your ideal weight range as per your age and height but have more flab on you rather than muscles, then to look fit you just have to convert the flab to muscle with losing much weight.
If you are gaining muscles then you will not see a marked difference in weigh loss and that is just fine.
On the other hand, if you are over weight or obese then the objective is to lose excess weight as soon as you can and bring your body in the ideal weight range.

Many times in the gym we can see around some people who are trying to pull off some crazy exercises which you can correlate with some facebook feeds that you may have seen recently.
Weight loss comes with discipline in working out daily and by following a healthy diet.
If weight loss and looking fit is your primary objective then you should probably get your body in a good shape before attempting any of such crazy exercises.
When you are in a great shape, then those crazy looking exercises will be more comfortable and you will also really enjoy doing them. Else they are going to be like punishments and you will soon lose interest in it and it may even hurt your primary objective of losing weight.
You also risk an injury when you are not fit enough to carry out certain form of exercises.

Focus on your diet first
Even if you do crazy exercises to lose weight and burn lots of calories and then if you don’t have a proper diet plan to aid your weight loss goals then you will probably end back to square one.
A diet should give you a calorie deficit which urges the body to burn stored fat to provide energy for your routine activities.
Many people after a hard work out, gorge on food thinking it is required to balance out post workout and will literally have anything from pizzas, fries or burgers which scores low on nutrition.
For weight loss, a proper home cooked meal which is high on protein and low on carbs work best to achieve weight loss results.
Whats wrong with regular exercises?
The old school exercises like push ups, pull ups, bench presses, squats, leg raises and all the common gym and outdoor activities as simple as cycling and running will give you all the desired results you ever wanted.
You body can look lean and fit even by doing all these routine exercises and you don’t have to go for those crazy looking exercises to lose weight.
The key is to be consistent with your routine workouts followed by a proper diet which will aid weight loss.
When you are not consistent then obviously you don’t lose weight fast enough and then a crazy workout video on facebook inspires you like hell and that’s the next thing you want to do, even when your body is not is great shape to handle that workout.
Doing crazy workouts is fine but it demands some level of fitness for optimum performance or else you will always end up struggling to do anything.
The best thing will be to go old school for exercises, focus on you diet, be consistent and work your way towards a better body that you always wanted.
